Fond Memories……
Most memorable professors… Dr. Gary Grigsheitt (Marketing)…
The time when…: The professor asked us if we could contribute any of our business experiences to the subject being discussed…….NO ONE HAD ANYTHING TO SAY! Not because we were dumb, but simply because we were on active duty and had no business experience. We conducted class on Little Rock Air Force Base. We flew the professors to LRAFB and conducted class at night. Very often we wore our combat blues or flight suits, but not a jacket & tie. We could not relate to a transportation matrix, but we could sure fly planes and push buttons!
Twenty years after graduating I went to Salt Lake City, visited the University of Utah campus for the first time and the pleasure of hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing the Battle Hymn of the Republic..
My University of Utah friends (then and some now)…Paul Huddleston (was my commander, neighbor, and still friend), and many more…..
