The Pep Rally… Greek Theatre on the U of A Campus, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Friday, December 5, 1969.
Nestled in a cozy section of campus is an outdoor Greek Theatre. I never saw a play there, but I did have the experience of a lifetime! Tomorrow we play for the National Championship. The Big Shootout. Tonight is the Pep Rally.
Frank Broyles, Head Coach, put on one of the most enthusiastic speeches I have ever heard! He introduced some of our players, the band played, and the HOGS WERE CALLED! I’ve since had the pleasure to be courtside at NBA Playoff games, but I have never ever experienced anything like this Pep Rally!
